At Millers of Wokingham we understand that it can be an extremely difficult time and that the final day can sometimes come without warning, which is why we offer a reliable, professional and dignified service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no additional charges for our out of hours service.
We can collect all horses and will work closely with your vet ensuring both a compassionate and seamless service.

Individual Cremation
At Millers of Wokingham we are able to offer in-house individual cremation for your horse with the option of either a wooden casket, a wicker basket or scatter tubes for your horses ashes to be returned in. We have dedicated equine cremation facilities enabling your horse to be cremated in their entirety.

The Goodwood Casket is a beautifully crafted equine ashes casket in solid, environmentally friendly bamboo, finished in a natural stain. The timeless lines of this quality casket are enhanced by discreet inset handles. The cost also includes a nameplate which will be fixed to the top of the casket.

Scatter Tubes are a useful way of storing your horses ashes until you are ready to scatter them in a special place. The perforated section under the lid enables you to scatter the ashes in a controlled manner.

The Willow Basket is a beautiful equine ashes urn hand-woven in natural wicker willow. The basket is calico lined with a drawstring closure and the hinged lid has a simple looped fastening. This basket is totally biodegradable also making it suitable for burial.
Standard Collection Service
For those owners not requiring an individual cremation, we do also offer a standard equine collection service where no ashes are returned.
